10. MACHIARA NATIONAL PARK 

      


Machiara National Park is amongst the largest parks of Pakistan. It is situated near Muzaffarabad. It was established in 1996.The park covers an area of 33,437 acres. The average rainfall is 1526.7 mm per year. The month receiving most rainfall is July, November is the one with the least rainfall.

9. DEOSAI NATIONAL PARK

8. AYUBIA NATIONAL PARK



Ayubia National Park also known as Ayubia, is a protected area of 33 square km.  
It was declared a national park in 1984.

Climate :   Its climate remains cool in summer but harsh in winter.

Temperature : 3 - 11 degree Centigrade.

7. MARGALLA HILLS NATIONAL PARK



Margalla Hills National Park is a national park located in Islamabad Capital TerritoryPakistan. The park includes the Margalla Hills, which form's the foothills of the Himalayas, along with Shakarparian Park and Rawal Lake.

6. HAZARGANJI-CHILTAN NATIONAL PARK


Hazarganji Chiltan National Park is a national park in the Mastung District of western Baluchistan Province of Pakistan. It lies between Chiltan on its west and Hazarganji on the east. 


Reason of Establishment : The park was established in 1980 to provide the habitat to rare Chiltan ibexes found in the area.


Area : 325000 Acres


Species : 30 species of mammals includes (red fox , jungle cat , Indian wolf , chiltan ibex , cape hare , black rat etc...  and 49 birds species includes ( shikra , black kite , golden eagle , Egyptian vulture etc...


5. LAL SUHANRA NATIONAL PARK




Lal Suhanra National Park is situated in the Bahawalpur District of Punjab Province. It is one of the largest national parks of south Asia. 

Area               : 127,480 acres

Nearest City   : Bahawalpur, Pakistan

Established    : 1972


4. CHITRAL GOL NATIONAL PARK



Chitral Gol national park also known as Chiral National Park is one of the National Parks of Pakistan. It is located in Chitral District in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan beside the Chitral River, at a distance of two hours drive from Chitral town. 

This park consists of 3 valleys.

3. KHUNJERAB NATIONAL PARK 



Khunjerab national park is at no.3 among the largest national parks of Pakistan. It is near the  Taxkorgan Natural Reserve in China. The primary purpose of this park was to provide protection to endangered Marco Polo Sheep which is only found in this area of Pakistan. 

About 250000 visitors visit this amazing place.

Kirthar national park is the 2nd largest national park of Pakistan. The park is accessible by four wheel drive vehicles while two rest houses belonging to the Sindh Wildlife Department are available for tourist accommodation.
